Jimmy Wayne
Jimmy Wayne had a very traumatic childhood with a period of homelessness and fending for himself on the streets but eventually he finally found stability with a foster family and this meant he was able to follow his love of music whilst completing his high school education.
A chance meeting led him to develop his songwriting. skills and eventually he worked as a writer at Acuff-Rose and co-wrote Tracy Byrd’s hit Put Your Hand In Mine
Jimmy Wayne the debut album was released in 2003and comprised of many autobiographical stories from his experiences as a teenager.
Jimmy Wayne peaked at No 7 on Billboard’s Country Album Charts gave him 5 chart entries with Stay Gone spending 3 weeks at No 3. ~ countrymusicfile
