Between 1990 and 1996, Jeffrey Steele was the lead singer and bass guitarist in Boy Howdy. After the band called it a day, Steele embarked on a solo career, recording seven studio albums.
Steele managed four singles in the charts as a solo artist, but more recently Jeffrey has become known for his prolific Nashville songwriting, having co-written more than sixty hit songs for such artists as Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and LeAnn Rimes.
