Jeff Dernlan with his magnificently named band the Uninsurables, has developed a reputation for no-nonsense country-rock.
Certainly his husky vocal style is reminiscent of Steve Earle, the band have a distinct 'Dukes' feel about them. Another similarity is the exceptional songwriting abilities of this fine artist, clearly in evidence on his album Broadmoor, and on his 2008 follow-up Cobblestone.
