Jason Isbell

Jason Isbell is probably best known as guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for the alt.country vanguard band Drive By Truckers.

A resident of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, his own material is more Americana than indie rock, which he demonstrates on his debut album Sirens Of The Ditch. Although this album may be more tender musically, that doesn't mean the lyrics are any less striking that what Isbell has penned in the past.
