Texas' Jason Boland, ably supported by his band The Stragglers (Roger Ray on steel & guitar), Brad Rice (drums/BGVs), and Grant Tracy (bass) has been around since 1999, building up an impressive following on the back of their independently released albums.

Powerhouse, uncompromising red-dirt music for the masses, their 2006 release The Bourbon Legend has seen them develop their music and pick up more and more airplay.
