Hank Locklin is one of the many Nashville stars that enjoys a strong following in Europe, and in Ireland in particular.

Such was Locklin's love affair with the Irish nation that in 1963 he recorded Irish Songs Country Style, a collection of traditional Irish ballads sung in Hank's fine tenor.

Featuring the Jordanaires and produced in part by Chet Atkins, Hank Locklin Sings Irish Songs Country Style has now finally been re-issued on CD over forty years on.
