Ricky Skaggs - Instrumentals

Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder have won no less than seven International Bluegrass Music Association Awards, and their 2006 album Intrumentals has received a 2007 Grammy Award nomination for best Bluegrass album.

Instrumentals is a collection of material penned by Ricky Skaggs. For many years there has been a demand for this group of master musicians to produce an album of instrumental music to showcase their renowned talents. Instrumentals is that album.

Skaggs' commitment to bringing Bluegrass music to the people has never been in doubt from his debut in 1970 as one of Ralph Stanley's band to the present day, and Skaggs is seen as one of Bluegrass' pioneers.
