Honky Tonk Confidential

Honky Tonk Confidential, best described as a retro, alt country group, playing an intricate mix of western swing and pure honky tonk, both original and classic covers, but with a tongue in cheek delivery.

The band comprises a formidable Telecaster front line up of Mike Woods and classically trained Diana Quinn, backed by Sam Goodall on bass, Mark Lindamood on drums and last but certainly not least, Bobby Martin on his 'flying' pedal steel.

All members of Honky Tonk Confidential honed their skills on the punk and new wave scene, but all had a love of country music deep in their souls.

Based in the Washington, D.C. area, they have been together for over ten years and their latest release is charmingly entitled Road Kill Stew And Other News. If you like your country on the alternative side, then this is the band for you.
