Tift Merritt's 2005 release Home Is Loud was recorded live at the North Carolina Museum of Art and features Zeke Hutchins on drums, Jay Brown on Bass, Sweet B Brad Rice on guitars, Danny Eisenberg on Keys and Greg Readling on Pedal Steel.

Tift Merritt's powerful vocals cut through this live collection which revisits several tracks from her Tambourine CD with her rocking band. The between songs chatter has been cut, paring Home Is Loud down to the bare essentials of the songs and music.
