Elizabeth McQueen - Happy What We're Doing

On Elizabeth McQueen's Happy What We're Doing you'll find a clear British influenece, not least on the title track which was written by Nick Lowe. Lowe is actually represented on half of the album's tracks in one form or another.

Elizabeth McQueen and her band the Firebrands tackle the pub-rock classics of Love's Melody (Ducks Deluxe) and A1 on the Jukebox (Dave Edmunds) on Happy What We're Doing, along with songs from Nick Lowe's various previous incarnations (Brinsley Schwarz, Rockpile and Dr. Feelgood)

McQueen does however prove her songwriting credentials on the only original track on the album Dirty Little Secret.
