Good Time
Good Time is the fifteenth album from Alan Jackson, a follow-up to 2006's Like Red On A Rose, from one of America's most popular country artists.
Good Time reunites Jackson with longtime producer, Keith Stegall and it marks the first time Jackson has been the sole writer on an entire album putting the spotlight back on his songwriting skills, as well as his vocals.
Highlights on Good Time include the sweetly poignant Sissy's Song, inspired by a friend who passed away, the nostalgic 1976 and the joys of being a Country Boy.
Jackson continues to appeal to the old guard who rail against the increasing pop influence on country music. Good Time continues to defy the onset of pop and rock in Music City by modern country music's biggest selling tradionalist.
