Gob Iron

Crunch rock band Varnaline is the alter superego of guitarist/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Anders Parker. Meanwhile Son Volt is basically the alter-ego of alt.country stalwart Jay Farrar.

Farrar and Parker together have their own alternative and occasional project Gob Iron, and released their album Death Songs For The Living in 2006 which turns out to be an album of new takes on American folk standards.
