While many in country music may not know Van Zant as their current duo incarnation, but they certainly should know the two southern rock bands that Johnny and Donnie Van Zant front.

Johnny Van Zant replaced their other brother Ronnie in Lynyrd Skynyrd after a tragic plane crash while Donnie was one of the front men for 38 Special.
