Full Circle
Vassar Clements started his playing career back in 1958 with Bill Monroe as a Bluegrass fiddle player. Over the next forty years he went on to play honky-tonk with Faron Young and jazz with Stephane Grappelli. Full Circle, relased in 2001 makes a welcome returne to Vassar Clements' traditional Bluegrass sound.
Full Circle features guest appearances by truly stellar musicians such as Bela Fleck on banjo, Ricky Skaggs on vocals, along with the likes of Peter Rowan, Sam Bush and John Cowan. The Beatles' Yesterday gets a charming Bluegrass makeover by one of the most inspired country fiddle players, as surprisingly does Cream's White Room. Full Circle contains thirteen songs, including many standards, all given the classic Vassar Clements treatment.
