The Avett Brothers - Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions

Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions is one of the longest albums I've heard in a long time; its 17 songs stretch just over 75 minutes. The Avett Brothers is a folk, bluegrass band - a folk, bluegrass band that likes to rock and punk it up pretty often - made up of brothers Seth (vocals, guitar) and Scott (vocals, banjo) Avett and Bob Crawford (upright bass, vocals).

Bluegrass bands are great in general (How can you not smile around a banjo?), but these guys evoke a quality in their music that makes them so ... lovable. Like you can picture them swing dancing together in a field of daisies or something. ~ Full Review at Music for America
