Drew Scott
On an old pawnshop guitar Drew Scott started writing his first tunes. After he had written a few of his own and learned a couple of songs by Muddy Waters and Hank Williams he took to the streets and found out he could make a pretty good living setting up on a corner and just pickin' and grinnin'.
After a while playing on streetcorners in San Francisco Scott went hitchiking around the USA two complete times again before ending up in Lubbock Texas. Home of Buddy Holly, Joe Ely and Waylon Jennings, playing at Stubb's BBQ and hosting some of the wednesday and thursday night jams down at the infamous Main Street Saloon.
Long Way Back To San Antone is the first mainstream release of Drew Scott's songs in 2007 - 30 years of pen to paper.
