Dave Kirby
The late Dave Kirby's guitar work can be heard on literally thousands of albums that were recorded in Nashville from the 1960's through to the nineties. His songwriting made an enormous impact, with countless numbers of his songs recorded by the cream of country music artists.
Buck Owens was the first artist to record a song written by Kirby before Rose Maddox, Porter Wagoner and others followed suit
Willie Neslson and Hank Cochran encouraged Kirby to move to Nashville. There he Joined Roger Miller, Harlan Howard and Hank Cochran, signing with Pamper Music Publishing.
