Daniel Lee Martin was a high-flying advertising executive before throwing in his well-paid job to pursure his dream of making music. After several years trying unsuccessfuly to get a major deal, Martin opted to go it alone and form an independent label.
His first release in 2004 was All That I Am, and Martin quickly became one of the most talked-about independent artist on the scene, with chart successes in the US and Europe. Martin's down-to-earth approach led to him undertaking one of biggest Wal-Mart tours in history, visiting and performing at more than 300 Wal-Mart stores across the United States within 20 months to ensure his music reached the people.
