Dale Watson is a die-hard traditionalist Honky-Tonker. Hank Williams III has said that Watson is the natuarl heir to his grandfather's memory, and has dubbed him a saviour of country music.
A favourite of the Grand Ol' Opry, Dale Watson has a devoted fan base in the US and also in the UK and Europe. His songs have been recorded for major movie soundtracks, and all of this as an independent artist.
