Cal Smith - Country Bumpkin

The former guitarist for Ernest Tubb, Cal Smith, is fondly remembered for the title track of this collection, Country Bumpkin, possibly above all his other achievements.

This Gusto collection repackages much of his 1997 CD Stories Of Life, and while not being a comprehensive resume of Cal Smith's material, it does provide a useful starting point for anyone wanting to explore his music further.
