Mark Pickerel - Cody's Dream

Former drummer with Screaming Trees, Mark Pickerel has managed to make the step from behind the skins successfully, and his 2008 release Cody's Dream reinforces the quality of his rich vocal style and clever songwriting.

Cody's Dream has dark blues and country sounds in the mix, but Pickerel has a knack for melody and is not afraid to kick up the pace if required.

Ian Moore plays guitar and keys, brothers Johnny (guitar) and Jimmy Sangster (bass), and Steve Fisk, who produced the album and plays Mellotron as required on this atmospheric sophomore alt.country outing.
