Chris Young's self-titled debut album shows a maturity in his singing that belies his tender age of 21. The album ticks all the right country boxes, with drinking songs, reflective post-drinking songs and romantic and sexy songs in its repertoire.

Buddy Cannon, responsible for other commerical successes Kenny Chesney and Sara Evans should help ensure solid promotion during the coming months, while Chris Young defines a unique sound of his own.
