Chris Hillman is the folk singer that wound up in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. He is also a sideman who ended up singing lead on 10 top-10 country smash hits. Then there is the Chris Hillman bluegrass mandolin picker extraordinaire who managed to receive three gold records with rock outfits. The Byrds are the band most closely identified with Chris Hillman, but his extensive repertoire is worthy of far more detail than can be afforded here!
