One listen to the Cherryholmes CD, their first label release reveals why this band won the International Bluegrass Music Association's Entertainer of the Year award in 2005.

Jere Cherryholmes and mother (and mandolin player) Sandy Cherryholmes are devout Christians, home schoolers and, and probably distrusting of modern American culture but as a family bluegrass band they have travelled extensively, winning new fans along the way at bluegrass festivals across the US.

The album features 9 original tunes and five covers, and the Cherryholmes self-penned instrumentals are terrific with Cia, B.J., and Skip, masterfully play banjo, fiddle and guitar, respectively.
