Confederate Railroad have made their mark on country rock with their own good-time southern boogie. Their 2007 release Cheap Thrills sees the band charge through some of their own favourite numbers.

Although these covers are the staple diet of their live shows, this CD is a studio production and gives a special twist to songs by Waylon Jennings, Lynyrd Skynyrd, David Allan Coe and more.

Charlie Daniels crops up, singing his own song Trudy alongside frontman Danny Shirley.
