Jack Harris - Broken Yellow

Recorded in 10 days in the summer of 2006 at Red Kite studios in Wales, Jack Harris' Broken Yellow was produced by the incomparable Eric Taylor. It features 12 songs, 11 of them Jack Harris originals and one reinterpretation of a traditional song.

Harris' songs comfortably fit the 'folk' genre, but reflects a wealth of other genres and styles. He also cites Mississippi John Hurt, as an influence, and Eric Taylor's Texas blues can be detected in the exceptional lyrical depth on Broken Yellow that has won him so many fans in Austin TX and at the Kerrville Folk Festival.
