Toby Keith's big-screen debut in 2006 was met with less than glowing reports from the critics, but the soundtrack to Broken Bridges stands on its own as a more than satisfactory Toby Keith Album.

Keith himself sings on 7 of the 13 tracks, but this is much more than a hit-and-miss compilation, following loosely the sequencing of the movie from the melancholy opening track through to the full-on rock of the closing Jack Don Tucker (Play by the Rules, Miss All the Fun).
