Kim Richey - Bitter Sweet

Following her remarkable self-titled debut album, the release of Bitter Sweet by Kim Richey was one of the best country-pop releases of 1997. Already having made her mark as a songwriter of note for other country giants, Kim Richey's sophomore outing started to develop her own unique style, which was to come to fruition a couple of years later on Glimmer.

Bitter Sweet is a fine album, with catchy, and occasionaly sixties flavoured tunes, and top quality vocals from one of Nashville's quietly important songwriters.
