Billy Ray Cyrus will always be remembered for his huge hit single Achy Breaky Heart in 1992 and single-handedly being responsible for the upsurge in interest in linedancing in the UK. Of course at the time he was also widely known for his signature mullet hairstyle.

However, there is much more to Billy Ray than mullets and linedancers; he is also a multi-platinum selling artist, with one number one country single and eight top-ten singles.

He branched out in his career between 2001 and 2004 by starring in the TV series Doc, a show about a doctor from the ranch adjusting to the large city. In 2006, he co-starring in the Disney Channel TV series Hannah Montana, which stars his daughter Miley.
