Angels & Outlaws
After a two year wait, Aaron Watson's highly-anticipated 2008 album, Angels & Outlaws, has been released.
The follow up to San Angelo in 2006, Watson's eighth album contains 15 songs ranging from an obscure Waylon Jennings cover, Tulsa, to Aaron's take on John Mayer's Heart of Life. Angels & Outlaws is rounded out by 13 Watson-penned tunes, which has written something for everyone, incorporating traditional elements of fiddle and steel guitar while keeping the music current.
Included on Angels & Outlaws are such standout songs as the rowdy sing-along That's What I Like About A Country Song featuring guest performances from Jack Ingram, Kevin Fowler, Roger Creager and Ray Benson, along with the lead single Hearts Are Breaking Across Texas, and the soon-to-be favorite, Love Makin Song.
All in all this a great country album that fans of mainstream and traditional country, young and old can enjoy.
