'I have had fans after me for years to make an album that's just me and my guitar,' says Radney Foster. 'So I decided to just have some fun and cut something for the fans.'

Yet And Then There's Me (The Back Porch Sessions) is bigger than that. What started as 'a little something for the fans,' turned out to be a soul-baring collection of some of Foster's strongest songs yet. From the contemplative Never Gonna Fly to the desperate heartbreak of Bourbon and Branch Water to the Roger Miller-esque, Little Babies Like To Suck on Their Toes, the collection is a funny, stark, moving and honest piece of work.
