Little Big Town - A Place To Land

Although Little Big Town are a contemporary Nashville country act, their 2008 release A Place To Land has much in common with the dusty country rock of Laurel Canyon circa 1973: the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, and even Fleetwood Mac are all present and accounted for.

However, looming largest over A Place To Land is the spirit of Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris; Harris' Evangeline is one of two covers on this mellow, largely acoustic pop-rock album.
