All Regions DVD

For years Stan Hitchcock has brought TV viewers closer to the heart of the music written by country's most famous singer songwriters. Stan Hitchcock's Heart to Heart television series premiered on CMT in the 1980's and continued on Americana Television Network in the 1990's.

In this video Mel Tillis performs I Ain't Never, Tired of Living This Ole Way, and Burning Memories. Mel Tillis tells stories of his early job as a railroad fireman, trading Webb Pierce a pair of boots for a song, and surviving in Nashville.

'Whispering' Bill Anderson performs Still, City Lights and Po Folks. A natural storyteller, Bill talks about the years of the 50's through the 70's when the music went from being hillbilly to earning respect as country music.

Tom T. Hall performs Ballad of Forty Dollars, I Love..., Homecoming and Old Dogs, Children, and Watermelon Wine. Tom T. calls his first songs 'little darlin' songs and tells about starting out in bluegrass at age 14.

Connie Smith & The Jerry Sullivan Family perform some of the most beautiful gospel music ever. When Jesus Passed By was written by Jerry and Marty Stuart, who is now Connie Smith's husband.

The only song to win the Song Of The Year two years running at the CMA Awards, You Were Always On My Mind receives a special performance by the man who wrote it ... Wayne Carson.
