This two CD set contains a pair of albums from the Americana singer, songwriter and guitarist Dave Alvin. Alvin is a the founder and main songwriter of The Blasters, the band that kick started the American Roots Rock scene in the early '80s. 

Blues Boulevard, originally released in 1991, features musical assistance from Dwight Yoakam, David Hidalgo and Lee Allen. This album is considered essential for anyone interested in Californian Roots music from the early '90s. Museum Of The Heart was originally released in 1993 and features an all star cast including John Doe, Syd Straw and Katy Moffatt.
